Solano EDC President/CEO, Robert Burris, will open with the importance of regional economic development and a few of EDC's larger strategies that will be significant in getting Solano to our "next economy". For example: the attraction of food innovation/agtech/biotech to the northeast portion of the county, food development and manufacturing in Fairfield and Suisun, Advance materials and innovation in the bay-fronting regions as well as Mare Island as a unique asset.
Col Zachery Jiron, Vice Commander, 60th Air Mobility Wing: "Travis 100" plan for Travis AFB that sets the stage for the next 25 years to ensure contiguous, compatible and complementary development with community partners Travis will extend the installation's planning horizon to ensure best use of finite resources and optimize Travis AFB as a power projection platform.
Sandy Person, Travis Community Consortium, will wrap up with brief TAFB Economic Impact and a “call to action” on our Travis & State advocacy efforts and vital initiatives with our community partners that are making a difference.
