About Us

Solano Napa Habitat for Humanity (SNHFH) is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which was founded in 1976 and is based in Americus, Georgia. Working successfully in over 1,690 U.S. cities and in 90 countries, Habitat has built or repaired more than 1,000,000 homes worldwide. Habitat is the 9th largest home builder in the United States.

Nearing 25 years of existence, the Solano-Napa affiliate has built fifteen new homes in Solano County and renovated or repaired 16 more in both counties that we serve.

Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, SNHFH works very hard to be a solution to the affordable housing crisis facing Solano and Napa Counties. We are financed completely by private donations, grants and sponsorships that come from individuals, local corporations, foundations and religious organizations.

Our Mission Statement: We bring people together to build decent, affordable homes and make critical repairs to existing homes in our community. Through this partnership, families are empowered by having a safe place to live and thrive.
