SUMMARY:10th Annual Solano Turkey Trot
DESCRIPTION:New this year we will have a SPECIAL NEEDS 1/2 MILE RUN!!  Being this is a family tradition for many we wanted to add a run devoted to those who are unable to participate in our other distances.  We will be donating money to 3 local organizations who serve this community\, the organizations are Special Care Angels\, SODA- Social Opportunities for Disabled Adults\, and Spinal Cord Injury Active Network.  Join us at 10 AM for a run just for you!\n\n\n\nAnnouncing our 1st ever Turkey costume contest!!  Dress yourself\, your child and your family in your best Turkey costume and win prizes!  BIG Prizes!!!\n\n\n\nBest dressed male and female 18 and over: win a $50 gift card to Fleet Feet Vacaville\n\n\n\nBest dressed boy and girl (under 18): win a toy basket of games\, bubbles\, Scandia passes and more!\n\n\n\nBest dressed family: Grand prize to be announced soon!\n\n\n\nAll participants will receive a limited edition 10 year medal and are guaranteed a limited edition LONG SLEEVE t-shirt with their registration as along as they register by November 7\, 2018.  If not\, t-shirts will only be available on a first come\, first serve basis at packet pick up.   Children 12 and under are guaranteed a FREE t-shirt\, as long as we receive their registration by November 7\, 2018.\n\n\n\nThis year's start for the 10K Run will be at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 8:20 a.m.  All runners will be lined up according to their pace. The lineup will be clearly marked by pace time. The main staging area for all race-day activities is at Solano Community College located at 4000 Suisun Valley Road in Fairfield\, California. Other race-day activities include food booths\, awards and other fun activities for the entire family.\n\n\n\n1 Mile Kids Fun Run that will start at 9:30AM.\n\n\n\nThe Solano Turkey Trot is a collaboration of two non-profit organizations who have joined together to raise awareness and support for children\, adults and seniors in Solano County.
