Pay Rate: $20/hour

Hours: 40 hours a week

Shift Availability: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Overview:

As a Day Program Leader/Direct Support Professional at Gone for Good you will assist with services that offer our adult with disabilities the opportunity to remain engaged in the community through activities to enhance social, cultural and recreational experiences. Activities include both site based and regional day trips.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid California Driver’s license with a clear driving record
• Cleared fingerprint/background test required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test required
• Negative TB test and medical examination required
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in employment, education, and recreation programs preferred
• First Aid certified or willing to become certified required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Respond well to direction and work effectively with others
• Work cooperatively with staff and provide excellent care for employees with disabilities
